What one week leaves you: a log, in your words.
The short answer
How to change your life when your track record says you can't
Stop letting the track record vote. There are two ways to make a future. The familiar way extrapolates: look at your history, set a realistic goal, improve by increments. That's fine for logistics and fatal for transformation, because the past only ever votes for more of itself; "realistic" goals are your history with a modest raise. The other way invents: declare something new, a way of being, that has no evidence behind it yet, and let the declaration itself be the starting point. Not wished for. Declared, out loud, standing, in an empty room if that's where you are, then walked toward one action at a time while the evidence is still scarce. It will feel slightly ridiculous. That's part of the physics. Then do one thing today that the person for whom this is already true would simply do.

Tick the ones that are you.
Two or more and the week is worth ten minutes. Nothing you tick is stored.
My résumé has been voting on my future, and it only knows the past.
I don't need my past's permission. I declare the possibility, and I act from it.

Emeka had been "the reliable number two" for eleven years, across three companies. When a director post opened, he did what he always did with wanting: he assessed the evidence. No leadership title. No MBA. One failed project in 2021. The verdict assembled itself with the speed of a process that has run many times, and felt exactly like being honest with himself.
He drafted a message recommending a colleague who already had the title. His thumb was hovering over send when something snagged. He read his own message again, slowly, and saw what he was actually doing: he was letting his resume vote on his future, and the resume only knew the past. He deleted the draft and wrote a different sentence, one with nothing underneath it: I am someone who leads from the front. Then he asked the departing director for thirty minutes.
From Inventing Possibility.
The turn
The cringe is worth reading. Every fact the sceptical voice has is true, and every fact points backward.

Evidence was the fence. Nothing here is claimed to be true, which is why it's a declaration and not a prediction.
Why it is called Keel
The part of the boat you never see.
A keel sits under the waterline. Nobody admires it from the dock. But when the wind hits, it is the reason a boat stays upright and holds its course instead of going wherever it is pushed.
What it costs
A week free. Then one payment.
- Ten minutes in your browser
- Six days on WhatsApp
- Your first log, sealed
- Ten more patterns, one a week
- The coach on WhatsApp, every day
- Nothing renews
Parts Two to Four are $199 each, and each one opens when you finish the part before. Finish any part and Practice is $20 a month: the coach and spaced repetition over what you have already done. It does not unlock a new part.
What you can count on
Four promises, kept by how it is built.
Private by design
Nobody reads your logs. A partner you invite sees only which week you are on.
Nothing renews
Part One is one payment. No subscription, no auto-renew, no countdown.
Honest about what it is not
Not therapy. If what comes up is more than a pattern, Keel points you to real help.
Built on published work
94 sources, from Heidegger to Frankl. The whole bibliography is public.
One question a day, and your own words back. No feed, no streak, no leaderboard. I answer every message and take the first ten team calls myself. If session one shows you nothing true in ten minutes, close the tab; it kept nothing.
Krish, founder
How do I change my life when my track record says I cannot?
Stop letting the track record vote. There are two ways to make a future. One extrapolates from your history and produces last year with a modest raise. The other declares something new that has no evidence behind it yet, then walks toward it one action at a time while the evidence is still scarce. The past only ever votes for more of itself, and realistic is often its polite word for that.
What is the difference between a declaration and wishful thinking?
A declaration is not a claim about what is true. It is a stand taken out loud, with your name on it, that you then act from. A wish waits for conditions. There is one limit worth being exact about: a declaration works only where you have standing. You have standing over your own life and your own next twelve months, and none at all over another person's behaviour.
Why does saying it out loud feel ridiculous?
Because the cringe arrives on schedule, and it is worth reading rather than obeying. Every fact the sceptical voice holds is true, and every one of them points backwards; the evidence was the fence. Saying it silently, or saying it once and fast with a laugh at the end, is how the ninety seconds get skipped. The feeling is allowed to stay. It just does not get a vote.
